Tidsskrifter / Open Access Journals in Anthropology

Det fins mange antropologiske tidsskrifter. Etter mye eufori om nettets muligheter for å spre antropologisk kunnskap på midten av 90-tallet, er mange nettsteder blitt lagt ned eller er ikke blitt oppdatert på flere år. Idag er de færreste tidsskrifter tilgjengelige online for ikke-abonnenter - en situasjon som ikke gagner vitenskapen. Derfor ble Budapest Open Access Initiative dannet. Anthropology Matters

Utmerket vitenskapelig tidsskrift som er grunnlagt av hovedfagsstudenter ved flere britiske universiteter.

"Anthropology Matters encourages the sharing of experiences and ideas at a level beyond departmental settings. Specifically, the journal addresses issues of relevance to the learning and teaching of anthropology, as well as work in progress. Two issues a year will be published by an editorial collective, and submissions to the journal are welcomed."

Journal Ethnologie

Populærvitenskaplig nettpublikasjon av Museum der Weltkulturen, Frankfurt am Main, som formidler nye antropologisk forskning i tyskspråklige universiteter. Med bokanmeldelser, oversikt over utstillinger. Godt illustrert med mange bilder.

"Im Journal Ethnologie schreiben EthnologInnen und KulturwissenschaftlerInnen an deutschsprachigen Museen und Universitäten für eine an ethnologischen Themen interessierte Öffentlichkeit. Es bietet unter anderem eine Übersicht über aktuelle Ausstellungen ethnologischer Museen. Herausgegeben wird das Journal-Ethnologie vom Museum der Weltkulturen in Frankfurt am Main."

Pro Ethnologia

Interessant tidsskrift som blir utgitt av Eesti Rahva Muuseumi i Tartu i Estland. De fleste artikler er skrevet på engelsk og tilgjengelig i full tekst som pdf-filer.

Ecological and Environmental Anthropology

Nytt peer-reviewed tidsskrift, startet opp i mars 2005 av doktorgradsstudenter ved Department of Anthropology at the University of Georgia.

"We would like the journal to serve as a nexus for the free flow of ideas of scholars and practitioners in a wide range of fields, since many disciplines are both contained within, and influenced by, ecological and environmental anthropology."

Durham Anthropology Journal (Formerly Dyn)

Nettpublikasjon av Department of AnthropologyUniversity of Durham. Hittil er fem artikler lagt ut.

"My hope is that as the online incarnation of this journal becomes re-established, it will become more directly managed by the postgraduate students of Durham, allowing them not only the chance to publish their research early on, but also have hands on experience of editing and preparing a journal for the ever expanding cyber-world"

The AnthroGlobe Journal

Kanadisk initiativ som har vært på nettet siden 1996 og som sliter økonomisk. En del tekster i pdf-format er likevel tilgjengelige.

Et tverrfaglig nettbasert tidskrift med artikler og intervjuer i fulltekst på engelsk og tysk

Electronic Journal of Folklore

26 utgaver av tidsskriftet er lagt ut på nettet med et stort antall av temaer som sjamanisme, mytologi, musikk, oral historie, nye medier etcetc. Blir utgitt av Estonian Literary Museum.

Nyhetsmagasinet av Norsk Antropologisk Forening. Ble tidligere bare oppdatert to-tre ganger per år, men fra høsten 2004 er det blitt lagt mer arbeid i nettstedet.
