I haven’t been blogging lately due to xmas approaching, but now I’ll escape to a small island in the western part of Norway where I’ll spend one week reading, writing (incl blogging) and exploring the island. Happy holidays!

i always wondered why there’s not more multilingual content on blogs – not the ‘equal but separate’ kind of stuff (click here for french version), but all in one…

antropologi.info is actually multilingual with blogs in german and norwegian (and a bit in danish and swedish as well). there are many anthropology blogs in many languages. would be interesting to know what they blog about.

well, I have seen the northern lights in Oslo several times! But you have to be lucky I guess… But still, I like to emphasize it in order to break another myth about the North.
yes you have to be extremly lucky (an event local newspapers write about) and it’s not that spectacular as in northern norway, there you can enyoy the lights nearly every night with clear sky
tromso… jeg har levd i tromso pa to aar. that’s pretty much all i remember in norwegian. and of course, god jul!
i like the idea of a blog where each post is done in various languages – but how to get past the translation issue… maybe integrate a translator somehow…
Wow, ikke verst, not bad! did you study or work there? here on antropologi.info it’s different content in different languages, but that doesn’t help readers that aren’t fluent in that languages. I wish we’d have a common language like esperanto or so
